Once there lived a poor laborer, Bhola, in a village. He used to earn on a daily wage by working for salt merchants. He had a donkey. Bhola always treated his donkey with love and affection. Though Bhola was poor, he never made his donkey to work too hard to earn more money. On the contrary, the donkey was lazy and cunning. Even after having a kind and generous master, he always used to think of some tricks to avoid the work. The poor Bhola had to take some load on his back himself. Once there lived a shepherd. Everyday he used to take his sheep for grazing. One day, while his sheep were grazing, he saw a very little lion cub shivering with cold. He went near to him. He felt pity on the condition of the cub. He took the cub with himself and fed him milk. After taking milk, the cub fell asleep. Shepherd thought if he would leave the cub in open forest, it would put the life of cub in danger. So, he kept the cub along-with the herd of sheep. Now, the lion cub started living with sheep. He went with the herd of sheep everyday for grazing in fields. Many years passed and the cub became a young well-built lion.

There was a very big well in a village. A frog (frog-1) lived inside that well. He used to feel very proud of his well, as it was the biggest well in whole village. All the frogs from nearby wells used to come to meet him regularly. All those frogs also praised the spacious big well. Even during famines in village, that particular well did not dry. The frog-1 had a firm belief that he is living in the best possible location of the whole universe!!!!

A woman baked chapatti (roti or bread) for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapatti on the window sill, for whosoever would take it away. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the chapatti. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” This went on, day after day. Every day, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and uttered the words:

Once, there lived a man who used to capture animals and sell it to earn money. One day, he captured a small elephant and sold it to a circus owner. The circus owner took the little elephant and tied him with a rope on a bamboo stick. The elephant started getting training on various circus tricks. After the circus is over, the elephant was again tied with a rope on the bamboo stick. The elephant initially tried to get himself free, but he was very small and was not powerful enough to break the bond. This created a belief in his mind that the bond of rope and bamboo in which he is tied is too strong to be broken.

Once there lived an ant on the hill of salt (Ant-1). She was very happy as she had enough salt for all her life. One day, another ant (Ant-2) who used to live on the hill of sugar arrived as a guest. Ant-1 greeted her and served her few salt granules. Ant-2 happily took it. Both of them then started talking on various subjects. While talking, Ant-1 asked Ant-2, "So what do you eat?" Ant-2 replied, "I live on the sugar-hill. Whenever I feel hungry, I eat it and it tastes very good." Hearing this, Ant-1 asked how does it taste like and if it is similar to the taste of salt. Ant-2 said, "It tastes sweet and it does not taste like salt. If you want, I can take you there and you can taste it on your own as I am not having words to describe it. It can only be experienced." Ant-1 agreed to the invitation and both ants started getting ready for their journey to sugar-hill.

Once upon a time, there lived a businessman. Before sleeping, he always used to take a glass of milk. As his business grew and he became richer, he thought that instead of daily preparing the glass of milk, he should better hire some servant for this job.
Soon, he published advertisement for the requirement of a servant and hired one servant. The servant initially served the milk properly to the businessman. After few days, the servant thought if he could just take out a quarter of the milk for himself and mix water in it, the master would never know. So, he took a quarter-glass milk out for himself and mixed water in it. The businessman started doubting that something is wrong with the glass of milk as it doesn't taste like it used to be before. After few more days, the doubt became stronger.

Once there lived an emperor of a big empire. He had a beautiful queen whom he loved a lot. The queen had a necklace, which she liked a lot. One day, while taking bath, the queen kept the necklace outside. One crow saw the shining necklace and got attracted towards it. The crow took the necklace and flew away. Guards tried to catch the crow but in vain. When the queen came to know about it, she felt very angry and sad. She complained to the emperor about the incident. The emperor could not see her favorite queen sad at all. He said that he will buy another necklace for her. But the queen was adamant for getting the same necklace. On seeing the strong desire of the queen, the king announced the reward of thousands for the person who will find the necklace. The people of empire did not pay much attention to the announcement. Few days passed, nothing happened. The queen became more sad. The emperor now announced that the reward will be in millions for the person who finds the necklace. Now many people started searching for the necklace. Few days passed, still nobody could find the necklace. The queen became extremely sad. The king announced that the person who would find the necklace of queen will be made the ruler of half empire. Now everybody started searching.

Once there lived a rich king in India. On one day he went for sight seeing and strayed to wrong path. While he was just wandering around in searching the path to return, a leopard attacked him. At this point of time, an extremely poor shepherd came. The shepherd knew the art of communicating with wild animals. He communicated something to the leopard, and to the very surprise of king, the leopard returned to the forest without hurting the king. The king amazed with the skill of the shepherd asked him what he communicated to the wild leopard. The shepherd smiled and said that he knows all the animals of the forest and all animals obey him. The king was very pleased with the shepherd and introduced himself. The shepherd got surprised to realize that the wandering person he just helped, was actually the king of his kingdom. The king took the shepherd along with himself to the palace and made him his prime minister.
