Once there lived a family of a husband and a wife in village. One day, a tourist came to their village. After visiting various places, he was very tired. He knocked at the door of the family. Both welcomed the tourist very nicely and allowed them to stay in their home till the time he was in the village. The tourist felt extremely thankful to the family for their kind behavior. He stayed in their house for three days. On the fourth day's early morning, he decided to move to new places. However, the couple was sleeping. So, he left without disturbing anyone. Before leaving, he left a note saying thank you to the family and a gift of mirror.

Once, there lived a devotee, who had immense faith in God. He used to pray to God with full dedication. One day, God appeared in front of him and said, "My dear devotee, I am happy with your immense devotion and service. Tell me what do you want? I will fulfill your wish." The devotee, although had immense faith in God; but he believed God had only given him problems in his life. He always used to feel very sad at his destiny. Whenever he used to see other people and compared his life with them, he always felt the other one to be happier. Hence, he thought that today is his chance to ask the reason from God for making his life so miserable.

Worthless creatures

Once there lived a king in Varanasi. One day, he asked his cabinet of ministers, "Provide me the list of worthless creatures of my kingdom." All ministers started doing research and after one week told the king that wild bees and wild spiders were worthless creatures of the kingdom. The king said, "Then why are they living in my kingdom. Kill all wild bees and wild spiders."

Peace and prosperity

There was a gurukul (a form of school in ancient India) of a saint. The saint used to guide students to follow moral and ethical life, along-with providing the academic knowledge. One day, few students started debating over the topic of peace and prosperity. Few students claimed that for having peace, prosperity is a must; while few others denied any relation among the two. The students reached to the saint for the resolution. The saint listened carefully and then told a story to students for easily understanding the answer.

Among the Navratna (nine gems) of Akbar's court ministers, Birbal was known for his intelligence. One day, Akbar thought that he would ask the toughest question to Birbal. He thought whole day and prepared three most difficult questions to ask from Birbal. The next day, as soon as Birbal entered the court, Akbar shot all three questions to him - "Where does God live? How is God realized? What does God do?"

Once there lived a she-sparrow in a forest. All wild animals used to live happily there. Unfortunately, one day the forest caught wildfire. All the animals started running to save themselves from fire. The sparrow was sitting on her nest. She observed that the fire was spreading rapidly. Many animals died due to fire and many others were just running saving their own lives. The sparrow started thinking and after sometime, took a decision.

However, on one fateful day, he could not sell any toy and he started feeling very sad and hungry by evening. He decided that he would knock the next door and ask for something to eat.
