Shop of God

Monday 30 September 2019

Once there lived a person named Sukhiram. He always used to pray for happiness of himself and the world. One day he was travelling in a fete. There he saw a shop with sign board "Shop of God". Since he never saw such a shop in his life, he decided to enter the shop.

He saw many beautiful plants inside. Just looking at the plants made him happy. Sukhiram went to the counter and asked, "Which plants are they?" The person at the counter said, "These are plants of knowledge, wisdom, peace and happiness." Sukhiram asked further, "Can I buy them?" The person replied, "Sure, that is why we are here. Please wait for a minute. I will bring them for you."

After a couple of minute, the person returned with few packets. He handed over the packets to Sukhiram. Sukhiram asked, "Where are the plants?" The person replied, "In these packets, I have kept seeds of each plant. You need to nurture these seeds with the water of understanding and love. Also, provide the sunshine of your dedication and focus. Then only these seeds will grow into plants and then trees. These seeds have the potential to bring immense joy and peace in your life if you follow my advise."

Sukhiram became happy to listen this. Then he asked, "How much should I pay?" The person said, "We do not charge anything. They are absolutely free. Only your promise is needed that you will not waste your breathes and will provide the required focus for nurturing these plants." Sukhiram agreed and then asked, "Why other people do not come here if it is free and so beautiful?" The person said, "Only those people come who understand that there is thirst within their hearts to be happy and successful. Other people are lost in the illusion of this world." Sukhiram asked if he could buy seeds for his family. The person said, "Although it is free, but we cannot give these seeds to those who do not ask for them. If you feel your family needs these seeds, you should show them this shop and it depends on them if they ask for seeds or not."
