Once an artist drew a very beautiful painting. He was very impressed with the beauty of his painting. Hence he thought of an idea of getting appreciation for his masterpiece. Next morning, he kept the painting at the crossroad with a note on it, "If you find any fault in this painting, kindly mark it using the pen."
In the evening when he came to pick the painting, he was shocked to see that there were so many marks on it. He became puzzled and disheartened. He took the painting and came back home. His friend visited his home and saw him sad. His friend asked for the reason of his sadness. He told everything to him. His friend said, "Don't worry, you make this painting again and this time ask the people to correct the mistake if they can find any fault."
He did the same and wrote on the note, "If you find any fault in this painting, kindly correct it using the colors." Next morning, he again kept the painting with note at the same crossroad. This time when he came back in evening, he was surprised to see that there was no mark on the painting and nobody corrected any mistake.
He came back home where his friend was waiting for him. He told his friend everything and asked that he was not able to understand that why the same people did not correct the faults if they were able to find so many faults in that painting earlier. His friend replied, "This is the nature of people. The people in this world have become good at pointing blames but nobody is interested in correcting them. If everyone can just begin to see the beauty and correct the faults, this world would become paradise in a single day."
